AdMental 2024

This live client brief was assigned to my peers and I during our Advanced Diploma of Graphic Design course. We were tasked with designing an A3 poster and a 1080x1080 social media tile for the 2024 AdMental event. The theme, "Film Meets Mental Health," required the designs to evoke a positive and uplifting tone, capturing the intersection of film and mental health in a visually engaging way.

In response to the brief, I aimed to celebrate the event’s seven-year anniversary while highlighting the positive aspects of mental health. To symbolise this, I illustrated seven different flowers—hydrangeas, jasmine, lavender, pink chrysanthemums, purple lisianthus, sunflowers, and the native Australian flannel flower—each petal meticulously crafted in Adobe Illustrator. To represent the theme of film, I incorporated a digital camera, with the lens taking the form of an eye, underscoring the importance of vision in mental health and the power of perspective.
